As from 1 October this year it has become law for sellers to supply a potential buyer with a gas compliance certificate should there be gas appliances on the premises. This is over and above the current electricity compliance certificate etc.
According to some experts a plumbing certificate will soon follows as well as a home inspection certificate. A home inspection is quite a common practice in many overseas countries.
